We have a new employee

We always welcome new help at the studio.  Our newest employee is named Lilly and she is 9 1/2 weeks old.   Lilly will be hanging around the studio to help thwart off the lonely days of winter!  So far she is fitting in just perfectly and is the biggest clown.   She sure loves new friends so feel free to stop down and see her!

Christmas season is over….

Well we survived another season at the studio during Christmas! We had so many fun shoots this year. The weather was amazing and really helped out with alot of the little kid shoots. This Christmas season we were so busy that we were not able to take on many new clients. As some of you know I am due with my 3rd child in June so I am booking according to how much energy I have to shoot, edit, and take care of a one year old and 2 year old at home. There will be a limited number of shoots available until Fall of next year after baby is born and in daycare. Thanks to everyone that made 2011 an amazing year. Here’s to 2012!

Antique shopping

Today I ran around town looking for cool furniture for the studio. Most of the shops in Mankato don’t carry the big couches, and cool chairs that I am looking for. I have surfed craigslist (an obsession of mine) with no luck. If anyone knows of someone with a unique couch or chair send a picture my way!! I did successfully loose my cell phone in the antique store with the ringer off. If you have never been in an antique store it is pretty insane. Luckily (or unluckily I guess) I have a habit of losing my phone so I am getting better at tracing back my steps. I was lucky this time

Just another day at the studio

Today we worked on getting the viewing room up and running!  It will be an awesome addition to our portrait session to be able to view the slideshows at the studio!   Thanks Kendra for being our trial run of the system today
